Hi Akil, My co-workers Andrea Jacobs and Stefanie Engler once looked into this. They found that for suspension MC up to 0.1 % BSA (depending on the antibody concentration) is tolerated. They also tested the same antibodies for IMC and found that these conjugates produce a higher background staining ...

We do not have experience with the Ventana machines, but Hartland Jackson in my lab compared O/N@4°C with 1h@RT antibody staining and he got much more background with the 1h@RT antibody staining. Thus we prefer the O/N@4°C condition. But who knows, things might be different with the Ventana set-up a...

We are using since many years an antibody stabilizer from Candor (https://www.candor-bioscience.de/en/pro ... lizer.html) for antibody storage at 4C.
